The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg describes itself as being at the heart of Europe and, appropriately, its third cybersecurity week takes place in the middle of European Cybersecurity Month. The climax to the week takes place on October 24 – PwC Cybersecurity Day – during which we will be competing in an exciting pitching contest!
Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg actually runs for 10 days, having begun on October 15. The aim of the week is to promote cybersecurity among citizens, corporates and SMEs.
PwC Cybersecurity Day offers a full agenda of discussions and breakout sessions. The morning will be dedicated to CISOs with technical updates and cybersecurity solutions. The afternoon will have dedicated sessions for CISO, DPOs and CEOs – so it represents a great opportunity to showcase CyNation and CyDesk in particular.
We are extremely proud and pleased to be one of just five companies selected to take part in the day’s pitching contest. Executive Chairman Steve Berry will be pitching our vendor risk management platform CyDesk.
The cybersecurity / cybertech competition comes from asvin GmbH of Germany, who provide a distributed ledger secured update solution for the Internet of Things, local Luxembourg company RCDevs SA who provide enterprise-grade solutions for multi-factor authentication and two companies from Israel. Reblaze is a cloud-based, fully-managed protective shield for sites and web applications. Tel Aviv-based Segasec is a cybersecurity startup providing end-to-end digital protection against consumer phishing attacks.
All competitors have 10 minutes to deliver their pitches and the running order is alphabetical – so we are on second. The winner will be announced at a gala and awards dinner, taking place on the evening of October 24.
Keep an eye on our website and social media to find out how we get on!
