The latest iteration of the Swiss Kickstart programme began on Monday, September 2 and we were there as one of the startups selected to participate. COO Daniela Menzky and CTO Shadi Razak are in Zurich for a week of exciting events, networking and insights.
Kickstart is a spin-off of Impact Hub Zurich, a globally connected community of entrepreneurs, techies, and creatives. The ecosystem innovation platform runs programmes for startups, “intrapreneurs”, CEOs and established organisations, including a kickoff week in September and a six-week 2 Collaboration Sprint, which runs from from September 30 to November 8.
This is the fourth iteration of Kickstart’s ecosystem innovation programme. Taking place in Zurich, it will involve 48 national and international tech startups and scale-ups – a new, record total. In addition, nine corporate innovation teams – known as “intrapreneurship” teams, have made it into the programme. The shared aim is to take their business to the next level and, together with established organisations, promote tech innovation in Switzerland.
The week’s events included a Planning Sprint (from September 2 to 6), a CEO dinner on September 3 and an opening ceremony to round things off on September 6.
